Though some can consume Splenda and sucralose without immediate symptoms, some Splenda users react quite negatively. Symptoms vary widely, so if you have unexplained problems that began since you started using Splenda or sucralose, look here for symptoms like yours. Rescue a friend or relative too.

I started using Splenda last spring. My arms got a rash, and I was scratching them a lot. I went to the dermatologist, and he gave me a prescription for some creme. This didn't seem to really help, and then, my fingers started to get red. They didn't stop there. They ended up bleeding and I had each finger bandaged up with neosporin on them. That didn't seem to heal them. Then, I was told to use utter balm, and creme. That seemed to help somewhat, but now, months later, my finger tips have a reddish look, and I have acne/pimples/rash across the whole back of my neck. I thought the finger problem was from crocheting so much. My tongue has several deep crevices and it's irritating when I eat something. Also, it feels like I'd eaten something too hot, and my tongue feels like it's been burned. Just this morning, my sister-in-law called and told me that she took benedryl for a few days, and her rash like symptoms and tongue pinching went away. BUT, she had coffee this morning and put Splenda in it, and it started over again... She told her husband it must be the Splenda. So, she and I are going to quit the Splenda, and see what happens. I'm in Arizona, so I'm always drinking something out her. I make my iced tea with Splenda... Not anymore!!
I also have diahera a lot. Hopefully, all of this nastiness will leave my system. I sure do hope so! People, if you get strange symptoms, and you use Splenda. STOP! Take some Benedryl and hope for the best.
